Website redesign

Hellewell Painting had an existing website that had been built in about 2003 and it needed some work. They wanted to redo their website and get it running on a content management system so that they could update it easily.

Since this website was a smaller project, the design process was simple and easy. The existing logo was updated, the site was redesigned and built on WordPress and it was all good to go. Overall, it's an example of a starter website. A few simple pages, some clean images and colors and a quality design process.

Ongoing work

Since the initial redesign, we've worked with the Hellewell Painting co. on website updates, photo-shoots, business cards and more.

The best strategy for having an online presence and the development of quality print media is having a slow and steady work of development in partnership with a design team.

Process

Our website projects begin with consultation and research. Step one is understanding our clients and their services. We consult and strategize with our clients about their needs, preferences and goals. Step two is researching the leading companies in the field and their websites. Step three is planning for the needs and wants of the intended website users.

Then begins the design process. We give our clients visual-concept options and once they are happy we build a full version of the website on a demo server. When all is ready and the client is satisfied the site goes live.
