A Resource

Understanding Christianity Today seeks to make Christianity understandable to Muslims. The website seeks to correct common misconceptions and to present the simple claims of Christianity in accessible, short articles and podcasts.

This project began with considerable branding work. The branding process involved walking the team through a set of exercises which were designed to draw on the best teachings out there today on communication. Our goal was to help the team to think of their audience and consider good communication strategies.

The next step was the visual design process. We started with consultation and mood board exercises. Then we worked on wireframes and the visual concept.

As part of this project we also did user testing to determine user preferences for content format. And we also did audio recording and editing for the podcasts on the site.

Original visual concept

The site was built in basic HTML and PHP. It features strong visuals, quality recordings, and an appealing visual concept. The site is responsive and mobile friendly with a small e-Commerce page which sells resources. What powers the site is of course the content provided by the team: the quality articles and podcasts. At Meta, our job was to make it beautiful with visuals, fonts and a well designed layout.
